Generally, no.

Most services are priced as a fixed cost or per square metre, allowing accurate pricing and avoiding surprises.

In some cases, work may need to be priced based on time involved. Where this applies, pricing will always be agreed in advance and reflects:

  • Time on site
  • Machinery and equipment required
  • Waste removal and disposal logistics
  • Travel time

No.

Every lawn is different, and to price work correctly and safely I always need to visit the property first.

An on-site visit allows me to assess:

  • Lawn condition and soil health
  • Accurate measurements
  • Access restrictions (gate widths, steps, slopes)
  • Whether specialist machinery, ramps or additional handling are required

This ensures any quote is accurate, realistic, and fair.

Typically 2–3 days, depending on the treatment carried out.

Mowing and aftercare form part of a wider lawn care partnership, which is essential for achieving good results.

After each visit, you will be given clear aftercare guidance covering:

  • When to mow
  • Cutting height
  • Any temporary restrictions

For the best results, lawn care is a shared responsibility between myself and you as the home owner.

My role is to:

  • Apply the correct fertilisers for the time of year
  • Treat weeds, moss, and underlying lawn issues
  • Improve soil health and structure

Your role (or your gardener’s role) is to:

  • Mow regularly
  • Weekly is ideal
  • Fortnightly is the absolute minimum
  • Water correctly when required
  • Water newly laid turf regularly
  • Water newly seeded lawns frequently
  • After fertiliser applications: watering-in to activate the product
  • Keep leaves and debris off the lawn, particularly during autumn and winter

If required, I also offer:

  • A regular mowing service
  • Leaf clearance and seasonal tidy-ups

These can be discussed as part of your overall lawn care plan.

No.

As long as I can safely access the lawn areas, you do not need to be present for quotations or treatments.

Sometimes, yes.

Any watering requirements will always be explained clearly after the work is completed, so you know exactly what to do and why it matters.

No.

All services are pay-as-you-go, and you are free to stop at any time.

You will be emailed an invoice once work is completed, or invoiced monthly if you are a regular mowing client.

Payment is by bank transfer only.
